TEXACOAT-NW : A Back Coating Adhesive for plush Fabric.

Introduction : TEXACOAT-NW is a speciality thermoplastic micro emulsion recommended as a back coating adhesive for plush fabrics.

Viscosity:	low; ~500 Cps ± 100 cps (at 20°C)
Odour :	Product has characteristic odour
pH :	7.0 ± 1.5

Silent Features :

TEXACOAT-NW is a milky white emulsion of good storage stability. Due to its high stability it is highly stable towards electrolytes and metals.
TEXACOAT-NW shows very little tendency to foaming and hence bubble formation is unlikely during application by pad, brush or curtain coating.
TEXACOAT-NW forms a colourless, soft and resilient film which is non-tacky and shows good cold crack resistance.
Due to the very fine, uniform particle size, the resilient finishes show good fullness and smooth handle. Similarly the soft and stretchy film imparts a fine grain and strong adhesive power ensures a good anchorage of the finish.

TEXACOAT-NW thicken only in conjunction with an additional thickening agent.
TEXACOAT-NW contains no SBR Latex.

Application:
(A) LICK ROLLAR METHOD : 30 parts of TEXACOAT-NW 10 to 15% parts of THICKNOL (An acrylic Thickening Agent.) on the weight of TEXACOAT-NW. 67 parts of water Ammonia to bring pH to 8 Total 100 Parts.

Recommended : A range of 15% to DOSAGE : 30% add on the weight of the substrate.

Shelf Life : 3 months.

Storage : To be stored at room temperature.
