SOLITE-PLUS : FEATHER TOUCH PROCESS

SOLITE-PLUS is offered as an accelerator for Weight Reduction process of polyester substrate.

Chemical Character : Imidazoline Compound.

Function :	Acts as CATALYST with Caustic Soda during weight reduction process of polyester and polyester blended fabrics.
Application :	To be added alongwith caustic soda 2 to 3% on the weight of the fabric. Operation should be conducted either on Jiggers or Jet dyeing machine for best results.
Ionic Character :	Cationic

General recommendation is as follows:-

Weight reduction on Jet dyeing machine at 100oC to 130oC for 45 to 60 minutes with 2% of SOLITE-PLUSon the weight of the fabric for 100%PE fabrics and at 95 to 105°C, forPV/PC fabrics, a reduction of 10 to15% can be achieved depending onthe quality of the fabrics.
Thus SOLITE-PLUS helps in reducing the time and temperature as well as quantity of Caustic Soda. A higher dose of SOLITE-PLUS will give greater amount of weight reduction

Highlights :

A great reduction in the quantity of caustic is made possible.

Adverse effects of high amounts of caustic on P/V blends is prevented.

Substantial reduction in time, temperature for weight reduction is achieved without sacrificing the degree of reduction in weight of polyester

Note :

As the weight reduction progresses rapidly in the presence of SOLITE-PLUS care should be taken in determining the exact quantity of Caustic, time and temperature by taking a trial before its bulk use.
If this is not done, there could be a risk of PE substrate being degraded and reduction in tensile strength is a definite possibly.
