INFASIL: ANTI-MICROBIAL AGENT AS DURABLE HYGIENE FRESH FINISH FOR TEXTIL

Chemical Nature: Silicone quaternary compound.

GENERAL PROPERTIES :	Non-corrosive to metal. Non Toxic. Has an excellent absorptivity to fibres. Exhibits Antiodorous properties. Eliminates odour caused by human sweat on cloth. Durable protection of wide variety of substrates against micro organisms. Protection is non migrating and leaching resistant and is not consumed. Broad spectrum activity against gram positive and gram negative bacteria,fungi, algae yeast, mould and mildew.
pH :	5 ± 1 : 1% soln.
Ionic Nature :	Cationic
Appearance :	Colourless- light yellowish clear liquid.

Solubility : Easily soluble in a cold water.

Stability : May be unstable in a strong alkaline and anionic solution.

INFASIL prevents from the deterioration and discoloration caused by bacteria, fungi, algae, yeasts, mould
and mildew.
Retains the freshness of an article by inhibiting of resisting the growth of odor causing bacteria and fungi.
Prolongs the life of an article by inhibiting the growth of microorganisms.
Provides hygienic freshness.
Provides a treatment that is not destroyed by repeated washings.
Compatible with a large number of processes and substrate.
Compatible to a wide range of pH say 3 to 10
Improves hand feel of the fabric substantially.

Antimicrobial effectiveness :

Antimicrobial effectiveness 99.9% for all kinds of fabrics.
Resistance to washing Imparts Min.99.0% of effectiveness after washing 10 times of home laundry washing.
Fabric subjected to 50 home laundry washes will have atleast 95% of add on retained on the fabric.

End Application:

INFASIL can be used to impart durable, broad spectrum antimicrobial protection to substrates for the following applications.
