- AQUAPHOBE-SNT imparts outstanding water and oil repellency to Cotton, Polyester, Nylon, Wool, Viscose and their blends.
- AQUAPHOBE-SNT is compatible with conventional finishing agents such as Silicones, DMDHU, Melamine based cross linking agents. Addition of these additives can enhance the performance of AQUAPHOBE-SNT. (Subject to pre bulk lab trials confirming the same.)
- Good thermostability of AQUAPHOBE-SNT ensures no yellowing on storage or change in the tone of dyed/printed goods.
- AQUAPHOBE-SNT finished fabrics retain good sewability and does not grey on use.
- AQUAPHOBE-SNT needs very low add-ons as compared to that of Silicones to get similar degree of water repellency.
- AQUAPHOBE-SNT fulfills various requirements such as Water and Oil repellency, Soil repellency, rubbing fastness and good handle, making it versatile on wide range of fabrics which are used as sports and holiday wear, upholstery and cushioning, bed covers, table clothes, curtains and carpets.
- Fabrics to be treated with Fluorocarbons need to be free from size Alkalies, surface active agent and other extraneous matters.
- It is imperative to ensure pH of substrate between 5 to 7 before treatment with AQUAPHOBE- SNT, to get optimum results.
- AQUAPHOBE-SNT can be used on Glass, Polypropylene and Carbon fibres also.

Application :
Dosage : 20 to 50g/l. Pad, dry and bake. Depending upon the substrate and dosage employed. |

Storage/Shelf Life : Stable for three months when stored in packed condition under shade. |
