ACTIZYME-TL : A Bio- Polishing enzyme.

Sailent Features:
ACTIZYME-TL is a mixture of cellulase obtained by fermentation of non-pathogenic moulds supplied in a stabilised liquid form.
ACTIZYME-TL is used to finish fabrics made of Cellulosic material such as Cotton, Viscose, Jute, Flax, Polynosics, Ramie, Tencel. The active ingredients in it react with the fabric surface and remove the irregularities on the fabric surface thereby producing improved Fabric handle, Water absorbency, Pilling control & Colour enhancement.
ACTIZYME-TL may be applied either at wet processing stage or at a separate stage. For best results it is recommended that the process be carried out on high speed equipment such as Jet Dyeing Machine, Drum Washer, Combisoft, Soft Flow & Airo Machine.

Advantages :
For Yarn Dyed Cotton and its blends shirting/suiting fabric, ACTIZYME-TL treatment can impart a permanent sheen and fuzz free surface. The fabric also attains an improved handle and hence this treatment adds enormous value to cellulosics and its blends.

For Cotton Twills, this treatment causes a substantial improvement in feel and touch. The result is comparatively permanent and involves no chemical treatment.

For Towels and Knitwear particularly Innerwear the treatment with ACTIZYME-TL results in increased moisture absorbency thereby improved wearing comforts.

ACTIZYME-TL treatment increases softness and gives good finish without impairing water absorbency. This is considered to be advantageous over certain chemical finishes which tend to reduce water absorbency.

In most cases ACTIZYME-TL treatment actually results in increased moisture absorbency.

It is possible to obtain ‘Super Soft’ Finish by treating the Fabric with softening agents after ACTIZYME-TL treatment, which otherwise is not possible by using softening agents alone.

Equipment : Jet Dyeing Machine/ Drum Wash/ Airo Machine/ Softflow/ Combisoft.
As per Dyeing load.

Enzyme :	5 gms to 10 gms./o.w.f. Dosage
Liquor :	5 to 10 litres/kg.
Ratio :	Fabric
Time :	30 to 60 minutes.
Temperature Range :	50 - 55oC
pH :	4.5 to 5.5 by adding Acetic Acid.
Handling and Storage :	After the ACTIZYME-TL treatment process termination of enzyme activity should be done at pH 9-10 by adding Sodium Carbonate at 1 gm/litre. for 15 minutes. Alternatively, temperature of the liquor can be increased to 85oC for about 15 minutes to stop the enzyme activity. Avoid the formation of Aerosol and dust of the product. Store in a cool place, preferably below 25 oC.
